PAiC BD products, starting with the SMSC, are available in an Open Source Version that aims to foster creative use cases and cost-effective innovation by making it available to a community of users.

We especially want to see back those users that were once active in the Restcomm community, as the features are similar and extended from those of the Restcomm SMSC, though now with a processing capacity that is 150x improved – from the previous 400 TPS to a whopping 60,000 TPS per instance.

The Enterprise Edition of the SMSC builds on the high processing capacity of the open source version, and adds rich features like load balancing, mobile number portability support, anti-spam and anti-fraud filters, social media messaging access and AI integration.

Over the Enterprise Edition, we will continue to expand the already rich multi-protocol functionalities that already include SS7-SIGTRAN, SMPP and HTTP, with SMS over Diameter and SIP, and support for RCS.
